My first born and I had a very rocky breastfeeding journey to start with, where I experienced every problem under the sun. It was only thanks to some amazing lactation support and my pure determination that we managed to breastfed for 22 months. My second daughter was born with a large hole in her heart and had her open heart surgery at 15 months old. Breastfeeding was our only constant and she is still feeding to this day.

After my own two very difficult feeding journeys, I realised how much having the right support really matters. I started volunteering with the local milk bank and quickly found my passion for human milk feeding and supporting families with their feeding challenges. I can kōrero in NZSL and am currently learning Te Reo Māori through Te Wananga o Raukawa.

I believe that everyone deserves to be supported to feed their child in whatever form that looks like to that family. We often hear the phrase “it takes a village” and having lactation support in your feeding journey can be an integral part of that village.

Being a part of your journey is so special and I would love to help you reach your feeding goals!
